We are a web design and digital marketing agency based at Electric Works in Sheffield. Since 2016 we have been helping businesses across Yorkshire and the UK build a stronger online presence - through websites that perform, SEO campaigns that build lasting visibility and digital marketing that generates real results.
How it started
How we got here.
Tom and Ian started Web & Roll back in 2016 after working together for several years in the digital marketing industry. The time spent together was long enough to know how they wanted to do things - and just as importantly, how they didn't.
The idea was straightforward. Do great work, be honest with clients, don't overpromise and build long-term relationships rather than chasing one-off projects. That's still how we operate. The team has grown, the services have expanded significantly - particularly into AI solutions and advanced development - but the fundamentals haven't changed.
We're based at Electric Works on Sheffield's Digital Campus - home to some of the city's most interesting digital and creative businesses. It suits us well.
Where we are
Based in Sheffield, working across the UK.
We're based at Electric Works on Sheffield's Digital Campus and work with clients across Yorkshire and the UK. Most of our client relationships run entirely remotely - calls, shared documents, screen shares - and it works perfectly well. Where clients prefer to meet in person, we make it happen.
We're a Google Partner agency and Bing Ads Professional, and members of SCOCOM - Sheffield's digital and creative industry body. We've been a Sheffield agency since 2016 and that's not changing.
